"Inevitable Destinyz" snippet

In 1860ad a wise women of 110 years made a prophecy:
Once 'The Prince' descended from Vlad Dracula finds 'The Maiden' they will unite and produce the 'Pure Child'. They will be of both Solstices. They will be unable to stop from forming this bond. Their bond will be beyond anything that has ever been. They will bond in the physical, mental, and spiritual plains. 'The Maiden' will become “The Mother of All Witches” and then “The Crone to All”. It will happen in the year when three tens or three elevens fall in the same month. It is their destiny. Once 'The Prince' and 'The Maiden' find each other, hearts will bond for their loved ones. All bonds will be made by The Fall Equinox. Those affected will live together and help each other. All will help raise ‘The Pure Child’, who is to be born on the Spring Equinox and will be born before the prince is nineteen. All seven couples will raise their twenty-one children together and they will all have powers that are more than there has been before. With proper raising, they will unite all.

Chapter 6 snippet
Dierdre, Brina and Shylah all of a sudden were sitting up right and looking around. Dierdre and Brina looked at Shylah and then at each other with questioning looks. Shylah was looking at the sisters like a light bulb went off in her head at that very moment.
“Witches?” Shylah whispered almost embarrassed.
The sisters looked at her and at each other again, “You?” Brina asked.
“Yes.” With their minds Brina and Dierdre consulted one another. It was
Dierdre that answered, “Yes, but how come we didn’t feel you blocking?”
“I’m only half witch and I have, as my great grandma says, enormous power of blocking. I can block others.”
“How and when did you figure this out?” Brina asked.
Shylah hesitated for a moment wondering if she should really be telling them any of this. “I found my power when I was six, my babysitter had her boyfriend over and he you know from me, I remembered the whole thing but he didn’t read me.”  She finally answered.
Both sisters we stunned and at a loss for words.
“That is why you didn’t ask like the others about the herbs? You knew then didn’t you?” asked Brina.
“No, I figured you were like the humans who read stuff on the internet and try it. You were blocking pretty well. I never got a hit from you, just normal human thoughts. I figured it out when the probing woke you.”
Then Shylah felt as if she’d said too much. She knew that half breeds were frowned upon in the secret society.
“Well you didn’t block too well tonight, I hate to say it. I had a feeling but couldn’t pin it down. Your name is Celtic, now it all fits.” Brina said with a smile.
That’s when Shylah knew that being part human didn’t matter to the sisters.
“Ok, what in ‘The Goddess’’ name happened tonight? I felt as if someone was in my mind, probing, as if they were searching for something.” Dierdre said now fully awake. Both the other girls simply nodded.
“Well, Shylah, you have been here before, are there any of our kind here besides us? Has anyone ever tried probing you before while you were here?” Brina asked.
“No, not probing but I have lost time when I was here and couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out what happened. As for others, the only ones that give me a strange feeling are the Morcant boys and it’s more of a human creepy feeling rather than feeling of power.” she answered.
The twins spoke in unison, “They gave us the feeling of blocking when they arrived together.”
Brina went on, “They seem to be blocking but not very well. Though it confused me and I’m able to penetrate almost every mind I have come across. So, I figured it was my imagination. I guess not since all three of us think something is up with them. Now what are we going to do? I don’t like the thought of my mind being probed.”
Though Brina had an idea but wasn’t sure if she should probe the boys’ minds. Dierdre could seduce them and find out but that might take awhile since Alexia said that they weren’t interested in the girls except Edan.
“I can probe their minds and see but I want it to be done when they are asleep.” Brina decided. Shylah and Dierdre didn’t object.
They waited a bit before Brina went to an open window at cabin twelve, took a deep settling breath and began. She hit Kendreague’s mind at once. Just a vague dream of a desk and bottles of liquid was all she got.  Edan was different, she didn’t get anything, blocking for sure she thought.  Cullen was having a vivid dream about playing baseball with his brothers. What in ‘The Goddess’’ name, she thought and probed the other boy’s mind. Bang! She hit a wall, no matter what she tried she couldn’t get in. He’s definitely blocking and with such power. Vampire! She flew to her cabin. As Brina walked in she got the look, you better tell us why you have that look on your face.
“What? What happened?” Shylah asked before Dierdre could.
It took Brina a few minutes to catch her breath and put the facts in an orderly manner.
“Well, the one brother was blocking, but that’s not what has me worried. Their friend is.”
“Tegan, why?” Shylah asked.
“He’s blocking I couldn’t see anything except a blank wall. I have only seen that once or twice before. Vampires! They’re strong at blocking. This Tegan, if he can block me he might be a problem. But I still don’t understand, it was the brothers that gave me the feeling not Tegan. I walked past him a few times and nothing.” Brina answered.
“I know Tegan and never got anything from him. What about the other two brothers?” Shylah asked after a few minutes of thoughtful silence.
“One brother was having a vivid dream, but it was almost too vivid and the other was dreaming about what looked like a chemistry lab.” Brina said.
“Well Kendreague’s a nerd from what I’ve heard. He studies all the time so that would seem to fit. But if one or two are, the other has to be too.”
Dierdre stated. They sat in silence for awhile, thinking to themselves.
Brina spoke first, “Well I say we keep our cover and watch the guys carefully. Maybe they’ll slip up with their blocking. While we’re doing that, Dierdre, why don’t you use your charm on them and see which one will bite.”
“We can hope either one works. If not we can try a spell I know.” said Shylah.
The girls sat talking. Shylah wanted to know what it’s like living in Ipswich, a real witch town.
