Wednesday Reads

"Dead Until Dark" by Charlaine Harris had me after the third chapter. Yeah, it's the book series "True Blood" on HBO, was based upon. You may have watched it and fell in love with Eric, Bill, Alcide but the storyline was changed. I like the TV series a little better but nothing compares to the original characters in the books. Tara, Lafayette, and a few others are nothing like they are in the books. Yes, Lafayette is still a flaming drag queen! Take a look and compare.

Manic Episode

 So I was manic for 5 days. BAD news for my body and diet. GOOD news for my writings. I completed, on paper with a pen, almost 2 full novels. Yeah that's right, 2. Now I need my imaginary friend to type it up. He's been on vacation ever time I need him!  Hopefully I will be able to post snippets of these books. I haven't figured out a title for the series but I do have them for the books "Dalara" and "Naleena" next should be "Zakaira" if my thoughts continue on the path they are on. Sunday Recipes

I live my slow cooker. It makes a busy woman's life easy. Just toss it together, get to work and when you get home it's almost done. Usually you only have one pan to clean after dinner. One pan  I said, if you are like me dishes are the last thing you want to do. Try this Jambalaya recipe from allrecipes.com.
