Plans for the weekend...

I am planning on completing the synopsis for the new series I'm working on. Hopefully I'll get it posted by Sunday. I also started working on character descriptions. I will start off with the major characters of the first book... We will have Sage, Dalara, Naleena and Takoda...maybe I'll even get to Zacharius, Drewdon, and Zane. Who knows, anything is possible. Still working on a name for the series...
  1. Shifter Longings
  2. Shapeshifters' Fate
  3. Fate of the Shifters
  4. Tamesville Wolves
  5. Weres of Tamesville
  6. Fate of the Shifters

'Inevitable Destinyz' is almost done with the second outside edit and edit. Then it will be on to publishing it. Hoping to have it available on nook, amazon, smashwordssony and kobo. I am thinking of offering free copies to those who follow my blogs and maybe a cheap price of $1.99 for the first month or so. I don't know...my books are probably not very good. Though those who have read it think 'Inevitable Destinyz' is wonderful. I never thought about publishing until a friend read it, about 3 years ago. I only started writing it for my daughter.

Have a great weekend.

Blessed Be my friend!!!

Bayou Heat Review

"Bayou Heat"
(Adult Content, sex and violence)
***courtesy of alexandraivy.com***
"Hidden in the depths of the Louisiana bayous, the Pantera, have become little more than a legend to most humans. It’s rumored that in the ancient past twin sisters, born of magic, had created a sacred land and claimed it as their own. From that land was born creatures who were neither human or animal, but a mixture of the two. Faster and stronger than humans, they have hyper acute senses, and when surrounded by the magic of the Wildlands they’re capable of shifting into pumas. It was also whispered that they possess other gifts. Telepathy, witchcraft, immortality, and the ability to produce a musk that could enthrall mere mortals. Mothers warned young girls never to roam alone near the swamps, convinced that they would be snatched by the Pantera, while young men were trained to avoid hunting anywhere near the protected Wildlands. Not that the warnings were always successful. What girl didn’t dream of being seduced by a gorgeous, mysterious stranger? And what young man didn’t want to try his skill against the most lethal predators?

As the years passed, however, the sightings of the Pantera became so rare that the rumors faded to myths. Most believed the entire species had become extinct. Sadly they weren’t entirely mistaken..."

My 1st attempt at a review so bare with me!
~~~Spoilers~~~
I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this series. I tend to lean towards vampires rather than shifters...just my preference, then having a collaboration series didn't seem like it would be well meshed. Once I started reading Raphael I couldn't stop...The details of the scenery and the lore is unbelievable. The imaginations of these two are astounding.
Book 1: Raphael is one of self-control until Ashe enters the picture one night...all hell breaks loose and she steals his heart.
Book 2: Parish is a tough warrior that has never taken no for an answer let alone asked for anything...then he must retrieve Julia for the sake of their race. Learning the hard way and overcoming his hatred for the human race he finds love.
Book 3: Bayon had hid his feelings for a female that was presumed dead, well she wasn't. Keira had been kidnapped. Bayon is sent tracking the ones who are trying to end their race when he happens upon her locked in a room. Keira is Parish's sister and, well happy ending once they profess their love for each other.
Book 4: Jean-Baptiste has been hiding his loss of control, therefore his magic, from everyone. Being sent to retrieve a voodoo priestess with a female that is uptight and tries to act in control, he finds unable to resist mating...
All in all I love the series and can't wait for the next 2 books. The stories are shorter than I'd liked and they abruptly stop without leading into the next book. I do find this a bit frustrating though I enjoy the no happily ever after for all. Having a book end with everyone happy is the usual, Alexandra and Laura make it work and leave you wanting more. I give all 4 books 5 out of 5 stars! I hope they keep up with the series. I can't wait to see who exactly is behind the traitorous acts.
